Button Drop

Being an avid thrift store shopper, I sometimes get lucky and find two of the same items.  The Bucket 'O Buttons, I found on two separate trips.

It's wonderful when I can find manipulates that are big enough for even the youngest children to use.  I think these "buttons" are designed for lacing, but that is an advanced skill that our group is not ready for.

Instead, we have put a slit in the top of the containers for the buttons to be dropped through.

As much as I love thrift store shopping, I love after holiday clearance sales!  The buckets pictured below are for Valentines and came with lids with slits in the top.

They are perfect for the buttons, poker chips, or other flat items to be dropped into.
